This is THE friend chicken place in Edmonton. No disrespect to SFC but It Dog trumps everyone. The fried chicken here is amazing and the hours are perfect for a late night run. This place fuelled me during my first year at university and I cannot thank it enough😩. Prices are reasonable and service is prompt. Parking is available and seating is great for large groups. There’s also always a TV playing k-pop for all you stans out there.

The dogs were meh, the chicken was really good! The tables were dirty, short wait. Two - dog & chicken combos (in picture) cost $30.00

Used to be a great little joint but appeared to have seriously went down hill this time i went. We ordered the plain veggie, and a Hawaiian shrimp dog. The presentation was ok but both lacking serious flavour. Tasted like nothing. The restaurant was extremely dirty. If i wasnt starving i would have left. Customer service was poor. When we walked in the employees kept their backs turned to us and didn't say anything. We had to ask them where and how to order because they didn't seem interested in helping us at all. Too bad, it used to be great!

Didn't get the hype of this place hot dogs were plain boiled cheap tasting. Toppings didn't taste fresh. Chicken flavour was good but my piece was mostly bone. Tables were dirt disappointing was looking forward to this place

Got the Chili Cheese dog and fries. The hot dog by its self was good and the chili was a really nice addition. The fries were damn good. Would highly recomend and will be going back

Great hot dogs but even better chicken! Seriously, such a hidden gem. Great place to stop for lunch or dinner before hitting up a movie at the Garneau across the street.

Service isn't all that great. The store is tiny so not a lot of room for dining in. The garbage is beside the ordering desk so it's not appetizing. That said, their chicken is to die for. Best I've had in the city. The hot dogs are the latest Asian craze but I'm not sure about paying such a steep price for a hot dog. Kimchi and poutine also don't go well together. But the fried chicken is worth returning for.

One of my favorite places in the city for chicken. Pieces are huge, meaty, and always seasoned well. Service is usually pretty good but my only gripe is that the place isn't very clean and the tables can get greasy sometimes (washrooms are a tad worse). If you don't care for interior looks and just want to fulfill that Korean chicken craving this place should be your go-to. 🍗

This is a great place to visit for a deluxe hot dog! I tried the mushroom dog and the flavor was exquisite! The soft pretzel bun is a plus! The dogs themselves are quite basic, but the toppings are delicious. The atmosphere is somewhat rough, but does the job for a quick stop. Be sure to register your license plate for parking in the Impark lot.

For some reason the urge to have a hot dog hit me. I have heard of places that sell hot dogs but It'Dog is the number one place recommended. Easy to get to, decent parking (don't forget to register your plate insude) and prime foodie location helps keep the people and product moving. The dog itself is a traditional weiner but the toppings were superb and the steamed pretzel style bun was awesome. The bun had just enough chew and texture to hold all the ingredients but still be soft enough to eat without coming apart in your hands. I also had a piece of chicken (added with combo) and it was really crispy while maintaining juicy.

I didn't know a hot dog place could actually be something to look forward to rather than something you just settle for when you're in a rush. Food is great, combo pricing is great, service is fast. Couldn't ask for more.

Obscure name, great dogs.I can't say that I have much experience eating hot dogs outside of your concession or convenient store style variety, but It'Dog certainly ranks at the top of my short list.The pretzel buns are probably my favourite part about the hot dog, giving it a soft, slightly chewier texture than you'd be used to with your traditional Wonder Bread buns. There are a variety of unique Japanese/Korean fusion dogs (e.g. kimchi) available, as well as some more traditional western type offerings (e.g. mac & cheese). The fried chicken is also great, and the hot sauce will literally make you sweat.My only complaint would be with the weiner itself, as it feels a little too much like what would come out of a Schneider's package. It could definitely benefit from some flame grilling or even jalapeno/cheese stuffing to make it more flavourful.All in all, your $8 is well spent here. If you find yourself on 109 St. or Whyte, definitely give It'Dog a go.

Tried the kimchi dog here! I'll probably come back to try something new. For the price it doesn't seem to be worth it but they've got some cool ideas for food that isn't really available anywhere else in Edmonton. Nice place to eat for a full meal though - it's fairly filling if you get fries with it too.

Would be extremely beneficial to have more than one employee working. Was very excited to have some fried chicken today as I'm out of town, the single employee was too overwhelmed by everyone's orders and accidentally sent our food with someone else.Will be back, but have more than one employee please

Photos don't do the food justice. Their poutines taste amazing and portion size is good!! Their Korean-style fried chicken is super crispy/crunchy and the flavour options given for them are delicious!

If you like beer, strange hot dogs, tasty chicken and K-Pop this is the place for you.

June 11th. Taking my niece n my 2 boys for lunch. Order 4 combos, total comes to $54.60. Waiting for our order. He gets a delivery, starts writing cheques out. Then dumps fries down. Never washed. No mask. No gloves. I asked for a refund. Paid $12.60 for the beverages n left. Will never be back.

Okay, it's a little bit dirty. I cleaned the table with hand sanitizer, and the chair too. The food is okay, big portions. It's a good place to go, if you want a meal for $17

Great spot for late night eats (or anytime I guess). Their spicy chicken is no joke and the truffle mac and cheese dog is ridiculously delicious. No liquor license anymore apparently but no big deal since it's usually an after the bar stop anyways. Plus an endless loop of Korean pop music videos! Update: Liquor license is back in action :)

Food is yummy! Had chili cheese dog with red onions so good! The fries were also super yummy, split chicken tenders and yes you guessed it super yummy. Nice crew working. Nothing fancy just straight up good food.

The food was delicious and came out quick. Very friendly and patient. Open until 2am was a smart move because on a Thursday night the place was packed at 1am.

Great good but what made it better was the service. Came in pretty close to closing hours, and the staff had no issues with making a small order for us. While we were waiting they even brought us a free desert. Would for sure eat here again.

A great place for a damn good hot dog! I got the Hawaiian Dog and it was really good! I loved the pretzel bun it was served on and the sauce was awesome. I only wish there was either more pineapple chunks, or that they had be incorporated into a sauce or spread that was put on the dog. The service was also quick and the staff was friendly. I will definitely be going back!

Ordered through a delivery service and the menu descriptions were severely lacking. I ordered a few flavours to sample and try out and all of them were sweet. Green onion mustard - sweetSoy garlic - sweetCream cheese - cinnamon bun?Snow?? - straight sugar No descriptions on any of these that would have tipped off they’re sweetened. If you like sweet fried chicken you’ll love this. I felt sick after this much sugar

When you arrive you are greated with warm hellos by everyone working. By far the best fried chicken ive had. Try the sweet and spicy sauce, its incredible 🔥 They have really good fries as well and spicy salt to add if you like. The 3 piece fries and drink combo is very filling and reasonably priced for the amount of food you get. I came here with my boyfriend on our first date and its become a treat for us. We eat here quite regularly, and they are always consistent with quality, freshness, speed and hospitality.

I order my fried chicken almost every weekend here, and every time I'm more than satisfied. Very crispy, juicy, and seasoned to perfection. This is the best fried chicken restaurant since it's opened in Edmonton!(never tried their hotdog, so I can't tell) Their customer service is great, too. One time, my order got delayed for some reason, and they were very apologetic and gave me a free salad. Except for that one occasion, they serve very quickly. Also, the portion is very generous. Sometimes, they put extra pieces or add some rice cakes which I love! Overall, I highly recommend this place.

Was really disappointed today. Always had a good experience going there but ordered on delivery and order there 2-piece chicken and got 3 chicken wings!!!! Terrrible. Also requested hardcore sauce on the side and it was not delivered. NEVER use them for deliver. Not the delivery service problem. Its the restaurant. They prepare the order. I called them and they said it was a trainee that made the mistake. I asked how to be compensated and they said said yes but did not know how???? Still hungry......

They have one of the best chicken in Edmonton; very tasty and crispy. We just find their eating area not that clean specially the washroom. On a positive note though, they have great food, friendly staff, free parking (make sure you register your license plate), and they have express service so you can leave as soon as your order is done

Fried chicken is good, fresh, moist, and great variety of flavours! Personally, not a huge fan of their hot dogs as I don't like the pretzel buns. Washrooms and tables are a kind of dirty.

got some chicken to go and finished about half. next day i was trying to finish up the left over but then i found a piece of hair. At first i thought it was my hair but nah, it wasn't. the hair was literally embedded in the chicken connecting another small piece of chicken. yeah, pretty disgusting. i asked for chicken they gave me a skipping rope. man... if you're here for the chicken, i recommend getting pickled radish instead.

The hot dog was way better about 8 years ago. I think that this place needs a good over haul and some elbow grease to get back into tip top shape. It has potential.
